Impact Roller
Loading points and transfer zones are where belt damage starts. Material dropping from height onto an unsupported or poorly cushioned belt causes cuts, tears, and structural fatigue that shortens belt life. VLI Conveyors' impact rollers absorb that energy at the source, with FRAS neoprene options available for underground coal applications.
Available in multiple diameters with corresponding bearing dynamic capacities: 114mm (1,300-1,980 kg), 127mm (1,300-2,720 kg), 152mm (2,100-5,400 kg), and 178mm (2,720-7,285 kg). Configurations include 2 roll, 3 roll, and 4/5 roll inline trough sets to suit belt widths from 300mm to 2,400mm, with trough angles of 20, 30, 35, and 45 degrees. Standard rubber or FRAS neoprene disc options. A downloadable specifications document is available on this page.
