Live Shaft Roller

Drive and powered roller applications require a shaft that rotates with the shell rather than remaining stationary. VLI Conveyors' live shaft rollers provide controlled motion for conveyor drive positions and variable speed sections where precision is critical to system performance.

Unlike a standard dead-shaft (stationary shaft) roller where the shell rotates around a fixed shaft, the live shaft design rotates the shaft together with the roller shell. This makes it suitable for friction or sprocket-driven applications. Optional rubber coating is available for additional belt grip or noise reduction. Built to VLI Conveyors' Tyton manufacturing standards with machined bright bar shaft, labyrinth seal, and contact lip seal.
